        Add a configurable keyboard shortcut (CMD + <configurable_key>) that flips the app between hidden and visible.

        yes I agree, hiding the icon from the title bar and not having the light come on when it is taking a picture.

        As with certain System Preferences such as Displays and Keyboard, there should be a preference as to whether or not the Security Camera app's icon is displayed in the Menu/Title Bar, so that users can choose what they want.

        I agree, this would include primarily removing the Icon on the title bar.
